There's some people that talks about primary and secondary consciousness too for example where the primary is "knowing about knowing" for example and the second is more about feeling emotions or something like that. I don't understand how you can just state that most animals aren't (at least to some degree) self awere. Take a dog for example, if you hurt it repedeatly it will stop trusting you and become frightened and agressive. The plot was butchered due to the guy from Lost coming in and rewriting the script. If you read about the original Prometheus script, the general events played out similarily was far more logical, and nearly every retard moment was different. It also involved actual Xenos.
