is Naboo the comfiest planet in Star Wars?
>>63647382
what video game is this from etc
I like the one that is a giant city
>>63647411
Where are you posting from, your gameboy?
>not Dagobah
>>63647382
In all seriousness, does the expanded universe explain why a blockade of an entire planet is causing such tremendous hardship?
>>63647444
>wasting trips on bullshit like this
Living in a humid, bug/monster infested swamp sounds delightful.
Planet Sofa in the Recliner System
>>63647382
What are your comfiest scenes in film?
>fellowship of the ring - leaving the shire up until Gandalf dies
>dersu Uzala - exploring Siberia + chilling by the fire + surviving the cold scene
>girl with Dragon Tattoo - Daniel Craig keeping warm
>the Edge - surviving the mountains with fire + coats
>Jeremiah Johnson - getting up the mountain and surviving
>harry potter deathly hallows - Hermione and Harry in the snowy forest
>Hell boy getting drunk
>>63647598
>not wanting an entire planet to yourself and only have share it with a few swap creatures

>Once Upon A Time In Anatolia - they finally stop at a village for dinner and a qt mayor's daughter serves them food in the darkness with only her face lit by the candlelight
>>63647679
Have you ever lived in a humid environment? I rather live virtually anywhere else than do that again.
Just go to fucking Hoth or something. There's virtually nothing there, and it doesn't suck so bad.
>>63647679
Swamp*
Nah m8 Yoda's hut on Dagobah
>>63647708
a disruption in the communications is pretty difficult to beat tbqh senpai.
>>63647382
It's like the only planet with more than one biome.
>>63647569
The movie does. The Trade Federation was blocking supplies coming into Naboo and were detaining citizens. That's not good for Naboo.
It wasn't a hardship for the rest of the galaxy. Amadila and the Jedi were trying to convince the Senate that they should actually do something because no one else gave a shit. The Jedi probably got involved because deciding to blockade a planet and imprison people for no reason will eventually create instability. Imagine what would happen if Amazon decide to blockade Australia; that would piss people off internationally.
>>63647733
>go to Goth
>can be eaten any minute by a a fucking giant wampa
No thanks, I'll take me chances with whatever spit RdD2 out of the swamp
>>63647863
Hoth*
>>63647853
>blocking supplies coming into Naboo
Yeah, I get that. That's why they call it a blockade.
What I'm asking is why is it so fucking awful for Naboo. What can't an entire planet produce for itself that is completely essential? They make it seem like people are dying in droves because of the blockade.
>>63647411
it's a miniature city btw
>>63647863
>a couple of wampas
>billions of bugs and swamp monsters
Tough call.
>>63647382
>Comfiest planet
>Naboo
Temporary Imperial occupation aside, what about Bespin?
>Chill enough place that they can be run by a guy who scoundrelled his way into being the leader.
>No one gives a shit about politics, everyone's just chilling in cool little flying slice of heaven.
>Total bros who don't mind taking on a few Stormtroopers to help a brother escape from the Empire.
>not comfy-as-fuck Cloud City
>>63648043
My man!
>>63648087
I'll post more just for you, bud
>>63648148
I mean just look at all those people.
They're not going anywhere. They're not in a hurry.
They're just out, chilling together in large groups. Everyone's having a good time, everyone's together.
It's like an idyllic society.
>>63648216
shit's downright utopian
>>63647774
>Negotiation? We have no communication!
dat rhyme. pure pottery
>>63647926
No they don't. They say it's messed up, which it was. And as part of a massive system of intergalactic trade, I'm sure being cut off from the rest of the system would have some affect on people's well-being. As would being rounded up and detained, which was a big part of the complaint. People on Naboo were basically being put into concentration camps, it's entirely likely that Gunray was letting people starve to death in them.
>>63647382
>not Alderaan
>>63648333
Trips confirm: Cloud City is greatest place.
>>63648216
Even the concept art makes it look awesome
I always wanted to live in a huge spacestation like Citadel Station, orbiting the damaged Telos IV
extra beautiful if you consider that it's an industrial mining colony.
just think of the sunsets
>>63647382
>tfw you will never enjoy a lakeside retreat on Naboo with a Jewess.
>>63648414
Too hot there.

>People smoke Death Sticks.
>Fucking Jedi all over the place.
>Beurocrats and disappointed tourists everywhere else.

No thanks.
Was going to go with this, but Cloud City makes it a tough call.
>>63647415
>New York City: The Planet
No thank you.
I would be up for hitting up a few cantinas in mos eisley, doing some scrounging for Jaba when it's not harvest season on the moisture farm.

I'm pretty sure that's one biome.
That's like saying Endor's Moon has a two biomes, because there is the bottom of the trees and the top of them.
>>63648043
That looks fucking awful. Like they hung up posters of a cityscape.
>>63649279
welcome to Star Wars: Special Edition
>>63648937
Why do the flying cars all drive in lanes? What's to stop them from going anywhere?
< not having 10,000 years of fresh air.
>relies on space supplies
>is lush green planet with indigenous species
>blockade is only around the equator not the poles
>single small spaceship can break through the blockade
BRAVO
