There is also a show called Kampen om Tungtvannet, it's about the WWII campaign in Norway, seen from a company of norweigans, but also about british and germans armies. There isn't much action or war, but it's worth seeing.

GK is more of a... well, documentary-like. You can watch it once in a while. But BOB is eternal, I can rewatch it every month and still enjoy it despite knowing every single line. It's that flawless, it's atmosphere is just surreal. Makes me think of that one sunny summer afternoon when I binge watched entire series and then played through the COD1UO campaign for the first time right after.
