Yeah that part was dope.
I also really like that they took the time to point out that, even though civilization was pretty much destroyed, humanity in the ID4 universe caught up with our reality in making stuff like Smartphones by time 2011 rolled around due to alien technology. You just know that people will have smartphones in this flick and people would have said 'how the fuck do they have those' otherwise, I love that they paid attention to details that fine.
Really gives me hope that this will be a 10/10 movie
