Better question, why isn't Tony making suits for cripples? Not like fully armored combat suits, but at the very least basic frames.
There's obviously some sort of neural interface in the Iron Man suits that make arms and legs and shit move when he wants them too. He could use that to help cripples, but greedy old Tony Stark doesn't care about others!
