It's seriously the best written show I've seen in a long time.

The show exalts modern day "heros" of today--aka people working at the centre of pest and disease control, earthquake responders, military personel, police, etc.
Didn't you ever think about it that way? One Man Punch (Satiama) is actually a symbol for "the average man", but it is the average man that is the real hero of society, protecting people from invaders and threats--all the time.
Also--the pecking order of the heros association--the "class system" etc etc.
There is so much to get back from this anime if you do a little critical thinking.

How dry is the well? It's mostly Yaoi fanservice at this stage, since those are the only readers who have stayed on board.
There have been about 15 filler volumes in a row. (Mind you were still under 100 volumes total).
Great concept, great execution, enjoy it up until the alien invasion.

I think the concept is very original. The story is more about the others heros fighting and waiting for saitama to end it all. Pretty much like dragon ball z when goku saves the day but the fight last just 1second

I enjoy One Punch Man a lot but I really don't understand why it's such a huge hit. This isn't the first deconstruction of shonen nor is it the most clever. In fact I'd argue it's the least clever. Kill la Kill and Prison School do a much better job of it. That being said, you'd have to be a lot more familiar with anime to understand a more in depth deconstruction. One Punch Man is the same joke over and over.
