yes, but only "good"
>>
>>63627279
It was enjoyable.
Interestingly the worst scenes were the action ones.
Not the running or driving.
But the fight scenes, Mano y Mano, gunfights, etc felt rushed
>>
Yes, best spy movie and best adventure movie in a while. Very fun. And the girl was pretty as hell.
>tfw no beautiful gf to dress up in 60s fashion for me
>>
Why does /tv/ always say Cavill is autistic? He was charismatic in this one.
>>
>>63627289
dont listen to these types

it was a very good movie because it made no effort to be bond or bourne

it went a different direction and totally nailed it

would reccomend/10

I really liked this movie
Heist scene is best scene

Why did the communist enjoy high end fashion so much?
>>
>>63628434
Wish fullfillment, he wanted to be a capitalist woman who could dress up nicely and tell italian manlets to let him wash his hands in peace.
>>
>>63628434
Why wouldn't he? Did you expect a world class operative to be a pleb just because he was from a commie shithole?
>>
The two main chicks in this movie were absolute 10s

I liked It. Stylish setting, didn't feel forced. Originally watched it solely for my waifu Alicia Vikander, thought that her and Armie Hammer characterS had good chemistry.
>you and Alicia will never have a drunk wrassling match
Truly a not nice feeling family
>>
>>63628693
What are some good movies with her other than this and Ex Machina?
>>
>>63628776
She did a pretty decent movie with Kit Harrington that's the only one I can think. She did a tranny movie very recently with Eddie Redmayne but I couldn't deal, blatant Oscar bait
>>
What's with all the Man from UNCLE threads? Is it just because of Cavill?

What did they think about it?

british actors playing the entire 1st world after ww2: the movie
>>
>>63628941
Nobody wants to watch American ''actors'' shitting up the screen anymore.
>>
The soundtrack is 10/10.
>The scene where Napoleon just gets in the truck while eating some sandwich and listening to Che Vuole Questa Musica Estasera.
Also very comfy.

>Armie Hammer, American
>Henry Cavil, American
>Alicia Vikander, Swedish
It's pretty much only Hugh grant senpai

Dam son plays an American accent in pretty much every role I didn't even notice. I fucking blew it. Now I don't even understand how there is a debate about who should play the next bond how is Idris even considered when this guy is working. Fucking lefties I swear 2 god
>>
i liked it. its on the same tier of his sherlock holmes movies (though i do need to rewatch them so take that with a grain of salt). I could see his style but ill always be a fanboy for Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrels along with Snatch.

He was batting first drop for Bond before he became Superman.

No,i guess if you're bored it's worth watching if you get it on torrent, I mean it was harmless and the lead girl was hot as fuck, it was mildly fun but IMO 5/10.
>>
>>63628025
I really liked the commando raid on the island.
It was the right call to make that into a montage instead of some drawn out firefight. Montage was done flawlessly.

Haha this is funny becaus in polish it means cuntol

this film is a gem.
Brought a 60s era mad men aesthetic to the overworked spy genre.

Costume design was top tier.
Locations excellent.
Casting actually includes several not so well known actors that deserved a big project.
Good Chemistry all around.
Great campy tone without the unfashionable and tiring chauvinism of the old 007.
GOAT music
cinematography looked good
Actions scenes were the right type of goofy and not overbearing like in the MI films which are over the top in that aspect

This flopped for the same reasons tinker tailor soldier spy flopped. Films trying to get out of the mold get punished due to years of studios teaching their audiences that repetitive formatted franchises are the best type of films.

UNCLE was by no means a masterpiece but a nice fucking movie you can watch with a friend, your dad or a gf without being desperate about the plebiness of it all.

Loved the cars, the suits and yet Cavill will make more money being superman but is arguably more interesting as 007.

The best thing Guy Ritchie directed since Snatch.
It wasn't quite at Snatch's level, but Cavill's performance sealed it as a really good spy comedy.

Miles better than Edgeman: The Fedora Service and Skyfall 2: Brother From Another Country.
>>
>>63630440
Yes, someone else who thought that was awesome! It was superbly done, the film was not about massive gun fights so it was the perfect way to do it. I loved that bit where the screen is split into two different shots and then they join together.
>>
>>63627279
Stylish, but terrible plot. The whole thing felt very rushed and one moment so detached from the previous.
Also the flashbacks to scenes that happened not five minutes previous are really just obnoxious and awful.
>>
>>63627329
She's 6'4 what the fuck
nice
>>
>>63632010
But the flashbacks added new stuff you didn't see the first time, that was the point of them.
