FLYNN! AM I STILL TO CREATE THE PERFECT SYSTEM?

Nigga got trapped in a closed system in the dang 80's.
>>63624417
the TRON universe is inside a forgotten computer system that has not been updated since the 1980s
>Tron was great in the 50s but could we have an updated version that takes into account Stuxnet and The Equation Group and air gap breaching and so on? Legacy seemed literally, by the dictionary definition, retarded.

>this film is regularly included in the list of 'bad films that had great soundtracks'
I loved the soundtrack but am I the only one who loved the movie overall? Sure, it had a slightly hollow music video feel but it my opinion it worked. Seeing it in the IMAX was amazing
>>63624771
Those niggas are crazy.
It had some solid pacing and amazing visuals.
The worst flaw is that the scene with Derezzed is so damn short
So if all the normal "programs" look like the humans who programmed them, who gives the ISOs and non-program characters their likeness'?
>>63626149
I do.
>>63624771
I wouldn't say loved but it was pretty good.
Radical man
>>63624771
I think it was an excellent movie and I think a lot of people on here agree with me
it had really everything I look for in a movie

Thanks anon, now I want to see it again.
when are we just going to get sound-webms
>>63624889
exactly this. for what it was, i.e., a tron movie, it was dope.

I would've liked Legacy a lot more if the lead actor had been able to....act.
>>63629375
He was a very generic character come to think of it
>all this Tron love lately
It because I recently watched it isn't it?
I have the superpower of determining what /tv/ will talk about
>>63624771
It's not a bad movie with a good soundtrack
It's a good movie with a godlike soundtrack
>>63624685
Literally blue vs orange: the movie
>>63630431
>what are complimentary colors?
>>63624771
I fucking hated it the first time i saw it, but on repeat viewings, i grow to like it more and more each time, first movie that i've ever had that with.
>>63630422
the soundtrack isn't that good. daft punk is overrated.
>>63630455
Same here. First time it disappointed me and I thought it was meh. With repeated watchings I kept liking it more and more.
Fucking Tomorrowland, if it hadn't flooped we would be getting some TRON 3 news right now.
>>63630455
>repeatedly watching something you fucking hate
why
>>63630531
You ever just have the tv running on random shit? One of those moments.
>>63630455
Why did you hate it the first time?
please don't bully for crossposting but tron 2.0 is a fantastic game and a perfect addition to the universe
>>63626288
Christ that would've been a cool twist if done right.
>>63630554
It felt very empty, the acting was shit, was literally just a visual ride with a cool soundtrack. I probably still agree with that assessment, but it's certainly better than i gave it credit.
I loved it, really really pissed off we're not getting a third.
>Olivia Wilde
>Cillian Murphy
>Dude who plays the Tron program
what's not to like?
I think it's really good because you can get different levels of enjoyment out of it. If you want it to be a cool sci- action movie, that's what it is.
If you want to read more into it you can, and there's enough there to warrant that.
I think it's one of those movies where you need to take something 'in' with you when you view it. You can't turn up with a blank slate and expect the movie to spell it all out for you and get the same enjoyment as someone who goes in looking for the slightly deeper meanings behind it etc.
>tips fedora
>finally arrive at destination
>Clu's airship crashed
>peaceful music playing
>pan up shot of Clu waiting for them
>music reflects it by going to a darker tone
>that entire ending talk

The movie had some nice moments. Lot of forgettable moments but damn
Went to see it at IMAX 3D and took 3 grams of ketamine in with me
>I was in there....
If Clu managed to send all those soldiers into the real world but they just all arrived in Flynns basement wouldn't they get crushed
I just watched it a couple of weeks ago. A really great movie. The soundtrack is awesome!
>That scene in the club where the fight pops up outta nowhere and DP switches track
