Pleb: The Thread.
The appeal is right there.
maybe after you've grow up a bit you'll have acquired the life experience and perspective to see No Country for Old Men for the masterpiece it is.
Who taught him his medical skills?
this shitty movie right here
The Big Lebowski
'The Dude' movie forget what it's called but he goes bowling. just stupid. stopped watching it when it got to the pool scene.
Also, why didn't abraham take out his bazooka or loaded it while they were slowly pulling up to negan and his road block? he could have got out and blew them all the fuck out.

every marvel movie ever..
Avengers was fuckin boring and shit.
I actually loved the matrix trilogy. Idgi when they say part II and III were shit.

Almost every super hero movie, any Kubrick movies.
Inglorious basterds was ok but pretty boring, especially that scene in the bar that went on forever, wouldn't watch it again.

I could never enjoy No Country For Old Men either. I don't know why. Everything was cool, but I didn't really like the weird ending of it.
Anyways, that being said, I'm not saying the movie is bad, I just don't like it. I've liked most of the movies that /tv/ has recommended me, but not this one.

>63604327
huh? no, great directing by the Coens, great writing by a writer who should be a Nobel laureate, and great acting by award-winning thespians is what makes it a masterpiece. not to mention amazing cinematography. if your only points of reference are comic book movies, i suggest you give it a rewatch in a few years.
>>63605182
Yes, the man raised on a diet of McNuggets and Hot Pockets is just as equipped to discern the quality of an advanced meal as a world class chef who has travelled sampling the delicacies of the globe.
Cinema appreciation is a learned skill much the same. But go ahead, reject everything that aims above the entry level because you get upset about being made to feel dumb instead of feeling inspired to train your cine-sophistication. You will always have your video games to comfort you.

Dark Knight Rises, /tv/ has been raving since it released about how 'amazing' the opening scene was. I ended up very disappointed by wooden acting to a poorly written script in front of an admittedly high budget background.

Literally nothing happens in this movie. There's no story to be invested in. Nothing that kept me wanting to know what happened next. It's just random people doing random things in Casablanca.
>Kekoo's Nest
Again, no story whatsoever. Just Jack Nicholson and his buddies doing random things in a mental hospital. No likable characters, and by the end of the movie I just wanted to punch Nicholson in his annoying face. Casablanca was just boring, but this one was absolutely terrible. I can't believe this shit is in 15th place on the Top 250.

Kill Bill.

>>63608074
I'm sorry. I was born in 1986.
By the time I was old enough to take notice, approx. mid-late 90s, it was dated-looking, 1980s hokey shit, like Flash Gordon, and inferior to more recent products.
Furthermore, there's no science in this alleged sci-fi, the technology is poorly developed in the story.
This could only appeal to Generation X faggots, like Mike Stoklasa, who have nothing to live for.
>>63607837
How is trainspotting not accessible?
>>63607940
Fucking this.
The fact that the trilogy turned into some sort of nerd essential makes it even more rage-inducing. By themselves, they would be just a bunch of lame movies, but there's an entire fucking cult surrounding them. Maybe that's how the bible started out.
The kicker is: Fans treat Star Wars like it's some sort of elaborate taste. It's one of the most popular franchises in the world and they still go "OH, YOU LIKE STAR WARS TOO?!" like there are not millions of people out there who are into this drivel as well. It's stunning how you can hold two completely opposite opinions at the same time.
This and the first movie was just a pain to sit through.
I couldn't find it scary because there is no suspense and the zombies looked comical. There was no real story or direction it's like they made it up as they went along. For me it's basically just a demo of practical horror effects.
>>63604244
>>63605457
Women are turned on because she cheats on her husband in that movie. Women enjoy being unfaithful. Sorry to sound bitter, but all movies that are particularly popular with women, always have some a plot that involves cheating.

I haven't really seen this, most fans know it's really popular with the general masses.

>>63608818
Im willing to bet her husband was some jerk that she married for some purely practical reason but she hated. I havent seen the movie though
>>63609350
Well, most people don't like anything at all. 95% of all humans are basically apes with smartphones. They just lounge around with no thoughts in their head all day. They just pay rent and live until they die, no questions asked.
The thing is, most girls will just blurt out "uuhhh yeah" If you ask them if they like Star Wars, because they see an opportunity to seem quirky and cool. They may have watched the movies once or twice, but they don't actually have a real opinion on anything. They just make up personality traits for themselves whenever it fits the situation.
>>63609408

Some kid meets this old guy.
It then turns out that the old guy fought in the "clone wars", which really was just one war, alongside the kid's father, who apparently was a good friend.
Also there's a bad guy called Sheev and Dark Vader or whatever he was called is actually the kid's father. The high ground is an immensely powerful technique and spinning is a good trick too.
Podracing is a thing, whatever that is.
