Fun fact: The whole "I won't let you die in childbirth" stuff was added in during post-production reshoots. Originally Anakin fell to the darkside because he honestly believed the Jedi were taking over.
Then George decided to rewrite parts of the script after principal photography was already completed. If you actually watch, the scenes where Anakin talks about his prophecy are pretty self-contained and rarely connected to anything else, and Sheev has lines like "I told you, I was right, the Jedi are taking over!" even though he never told Anakin that.
