I deleted my 5 year watchlist because it was giving me anxiety. Don Delilo once said that lists are a form of cultural hysteria, and I came to belive that he is too right. I don't plan what movies to watch. Only spontaneous choices now.

Sometimes there's too much spontaneous choices happening in a short time frame, and you can't catch up with everything. I guess that's how watchlists build up in general
