As has been stated multiple times, if Hell is real that's where all the interesting historical figures are. Why would you want to waste your time in Heaven? Hell is like a giant amusement park with all these different levels you can visit.
What are you going to do in Heaven? Suck God's dick? Not eat or drink anything? Pet all of the placcid queer animals that got through like the armadillo or the swan?
Consider for a moment the entire concept of Heaven. An eternity of not doing anything new or interesting while your soul's essence is tapped to fuel God's infinity drive. It's like being lobotimized and given crayons. Here draw clouds and rainbows.

Alright, technically it took place on a spaceship which had sunk to the ocean floor of an uncharted planet. It wasn't on Earth, it was basically space until the big twist at the end that revealed they were in an ocean. The main environment was a space ship so it might as well be space.

If you believe in hell, then you should know that if you aren'y sent there, you don't get to meet anyone; because every day you'll be born into instant, unimaginable agony that lasts an eternity, then you die, and you're born into agony again. There is no socialising in hell, it's just endless torture forever. The only voice you'll hear is the one inside your own head asking when it will all stop (because you can't scream, after all), but it doesn't ever stop, and there's nothing that will ever get you out, ever.
That's what real Christians believe.

The Bible refers to "hell" as more non-existence than anything, you don't "go" anywhere. Hell is a crucible where souls are destroyed. So if you're going to "Hell", according to the Bible, your soul is going to be destroyed completely, returned to nothing. Whereas going to Heaven is continued existence in some form.
