It has not much to do with the hateful eight. Theres one scene that looks similar to the scene from the trailer where sam jackson asks the carriage guy if he has space for one more but other than that its probably more like the adam sandler version of blazing saddles.
Its of course what youd expect from an adam sandler movie but i think it was well made, i havent seen much of the trash he made in the last 5 years or so except grown ups 2 which was probably one of the worst things ive ever seen, but this was actually nice, had some clever jokes, good practical effects and it felt less like a cash grab and had at least some heart to it.
