That part was the part that finally sold me on the movie. Yeah the entire thing was dumb, but I went in for fun. Also David Hasslehoff's song is a great workout song.

The fact they went all green-screen in an 80's movie was misguided.
Say what you will about Turbo kid, but at least the effects were true to the material.
The movie couldn't be "so bad it's good" because they tried to make it that way, but it tried too hard and it didn't become genuinely good. I found it terribly disappointing.
