I feel like most of the backlash comes from this movie using the violence in Chicago, and a title as inflammatory as Chiraq, without actually using it to provide a real analysis of the situation. Using some bawdy Greek comedy to talk about an incredibly complex socioeconomic problem does nothing but make you look like a pretentious asshat.
