Why does no one talk about this masterpiece anymore?
>>63548922
>implying people on /tv/ watch movies made before 2010
easily overshadowed by Coppola's other work that decade. it sure is good though
>>63548922
did you just watch this on tv?
>>63548922
Good, the less we talk about actually good movies in this shithole, the fewer of them will be degraded into meme-movies

It's decent, but no masterpiece. I was pretty underwhelmed by it, considering it's reputation
Because it's not a masterpiece. Just a decent film from the 70's which wouldn't have been notable at all had it been from any other director

Literally Reddit: The Movie
There's a thread about it once every couple weeks. It's great. But yeah, generally beloved films don't get much traction here. No meme value.

It's definitely more subtle and minimalist than most thrillers, but it's easily one of the more provocative and visually impressive thrillers. It's more of a character study than anything else.

i liked the pseudo sequel better.
It's a blatant rip off of antonioni's blow up.
Old and boring not enough memes and if YOU enjoyed it you are just trying to escape reality
>meanwhile on 70's /tv/
>>63548922
Because he was copying Antonioni
Because its not capeshit/the latest crappy flavor of the month show
This and Blow Out are my favorite 70s sound recording films.
