When I indulge in these hobbies it's not at the base level, like watch the occasional episode of a show, but pretty in depth. I mean like binging Star Wars books/comics, building Gunpla, learning about the inspirations and references, etc.
When I encounter someone that enjoys the same stuff I do I get pretty excited because rarely so I get to talk about my hobbies to people besides my wife. I don't get angry when I run into someone who isnt as into as myself, just disappointed. I suspect I'm in the minority on that, but I know there are those that feel the same.
Getting mad about it isretarded though.
