Conan looks dead inside next to sarah silverman.
it wasn't so apparent to me after he switched to tbs, but man did he look super depressed during 2012-2014, some major shit must've happened during that time. he seems better now but his ratings are like the worst right now.
None of his sketches are funny and he's on the most irrelevant network.

Take out all of the top A-listers from all of the other shows and look at the host themselves. Conan comes out on top very easily.
If Conan got all of the top stars he'd be getting the top ratings easily. But his position on cable screws him over because they are never able to get his show to all of the TV sets like ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Been watching him since 1996.
His monologues are still very funny, as are his remotes. But his bits are very hit and miss. I've seen others say that his writers suck, I can't really disagree with that.
I also personally think being on the west coast hurts his comedy. His humor was a lot sharper and intelligent when he was in NY. He has to dumb himself down for a California audience.

Dude what? His entire comedic persona is based around self-deprecation. If he insults other people it's usually sandwiched between 10 jokes about how goofy looking and awkward he is.
