Capeshit refers to the superhero genre in any medium.

You are now aware that you live in a world, a terrifying world, where there are people right this moment who use terms such as "canon" and "cinematic universe" when talking about films and television shows.

A terrifying world where imagined characters on a screen are required, according to those who discuss them, to adhere to "ground rules" set out by the creators of said-characters. A terrifying world where those that discuss these characters and their actions, are actually enraged if said-characters deviate from the mannerisms expected of them, the mannerisms that may have initially been set in the pages of a comic book.

Think about that. A comic book. For children. Yes, pictures and words on the same page, which are meant to be read by children, that are actually read by adults who then bicker and express their frustration at film-translations of these comic books not being "faithful". Faithful to a comic book. That's supposed to be read by young children.

This is your world. This is the world of capeshit. Terrifying, isn't it?

A movie doesn't have to have superheroes to be capeshit.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as a 'movie', is in fact, a capeshit, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, capes plus shit. Capeshit is not a media unto itself, but rather another plebeian component of a fully functioning pleb made possible by the greedy jews & vital movie components as defined by Kubrick.
Many viewers watch a modified version of films every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of films which is widely watched today is often called “capeshit”, and many of its viewers are not aware that it is basically a cash grab, designed to appeal the masses. There really is capeshit, and these people are watching it, but it is just a part of their plebeian taste.
Film is the kernel: the core in the capeshit system that allocates the viewers’s eye holes to the poor quality CGI. The cape is an essential part of an operating capeshit movie, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete piece of shit. Film is normally used in combination with creative story lines & visuals: the whole system is basically meant to be enjoyable. All the so-called “movies” distributions are really distributions of capeshit or rehashes.

I agree.

most comics suck as literature because they are almost always built around 'hooking' you in for the next issue and condensing a story into a run of 20-page mini-stories. What's more, companies that produce these are liable to cancel your story half-way through so you also have to prepare to end it suddenly at any time. A few writers can create a single story of worth in only 20 pages, but this is bad for sales, so obviously doing so is not encouraged.

comics sell to children, so anything that isn't written for children is generally written to make people feel more mature and smart for reading them. Ham-fisted Progressive or Anarchist political statements, speculative fiction that takes a back seat to cool robot art, superheroes who 'defy conventions', etc. The comics in mainstream that are not simply media devices are held as masterpieces, although the writing behind them is often nothing new in terms of literature and is simply the first time the idea has been brought to that audience.

In terms of the newspaper comics, web-based comics, etc. the same follows. The act of releasing single pages at a time requires something significant or funny on every page, which can severely limit the story-telling potential. Succinct, thoughtful dialogue is what separates the good literature here from the standard gag-a-day strip or plodding drama. Strips like Calvin and Hobbes, Doonsbury, etc. are often cited as the best of these. It's difficult to rate something like this on its literature because there may be 1200 strips, with 1180 duds and maybe 20 really flawless strips. Would that be considered a good comic, or simply a bad comic that created something meaningful?
