It's funny, because yesterday I finished reading this series.
I didn't like it, though. I remember that I've been playing RPG once with my friend going full freestyle, like those rapers, imagining stuff just as the story progressed and it looked kinda similar to this story.
I quote a piece of this freestyle I still remember:

It's literally something that could have been put straight into Dark Tower.
