I love the way Spielberg movies look so much. All of that artificial suffused light looks so fantastic. His movies look to me like archetypal Hollywood movies if that makes any sense.

I feel like Spielberg was the wrong choice for this movie. He'll fill it with his trademark Jewish saccharine sentimentality to make more shekels, or ruin it like he did with Tintin.
I've always wanted to see this film on the big screen, but it either needed to be made in the 1980s by Henson or Gilliam.
The only director I could see pulling it off nowadays would be Wes Anderson, but even then, I'd rather see him do "The Twits" first.
