It's good, but holy crap is it overrated. It's not even in his top 3 films.
I don't like the parts with Butch's girlfriend. Pretty boring. Rest of the movie is good. But beside part of Inglorious Basterds, everything he's made after Jackie Brown has been pretty disappointing. Django in particular was overhypyed and not that good. I don't see much hope in the hateful 8, as it seems more fitting as a play than a movie. I think a lot people are going to be disappointed. Jackie Brown or Pulp Fiction has been my favorite. Reservoir Dogs was good too, but felt limited which I assume was due to budget. I don't like Tarantino as a person, and I try really hard to separate the man from his craft, but it can be difficult.
