Anybody else actually help create television & film?
I've recently started out working as a Grip/Lamp Op these days, and it's immediately obvious that I need a good multitool. The question is: which one?
Any advice here would be hot. I'm not a rich anon, but I'd prefer to buy something for life.
Just get a cheap one from cabelas or something. If you get an expensive one you will just lose it and be pissed off.

Ask around - most everyone on set has a story about a leatherman or gerber that 'walked away' one day. To be fair, that's life. Waves are nice and cheap, with an alright warranty. Real knifefags will probably take issue, though.
Leatherman. Wave or charge. Or if you want to go cheaper Leatherman wingman or sidekick
Victorinox swisstool is also good
Stay away from the made in China crapola cheaper multitools
A friend who works tech support swears by his leatherman.
Gonna put in a vote for Leatherman too. They're sturdy and I'm pretty sure they have a warranty.

CHINA STRONG
Seriously, though, the Ganzo G301 and its kith are pretty decent, and you'll find them at Cabelas if you're lucky. Stay away from the no-name ones, though, he's right about them.
That's around the 35$ mark too, which may or may not beat the Leatherman Wingman. Depends on your store's deal with Leatherman and their own personal cut.
Leatherman are great.

I think it's just going through a support.
