This is trash.
Is that "Immortals"?
>>63468452
Yeah but it looks cool, don't you like cool looking things?
>>63468452
Why?
>>63468530
It is trying really hard to be edgy but just looks like abstract shlock.
>>63468604
Sometimes people like to just look at things and derive meaning from the vision.
If Jodorowsky didn't "try hard" then people wouldn't still be talking about it 30 years later.

I like some art films, but this one just left a really bad taste in my mouth. Are his other films better?
>>63468824
You probably won't like them if you don't like analyzing symbolism OP.

Holy mountain
>>63468845
Yeah, this. From what I've read/been told by others it's almost nerdily pedantic how much Jodorowsky is adherring to religious spiritual constructs in the formation of his narratives.
>>63468891
Describe why you like about the film.
>>63468993
Not the same anon but it is not only visually striking, but it provides good commentary on religion, spirituality, and society as a whole
>>63468993
It looks cool.
>>63469042
Fair enough, I hate the execution of it though.
>>63469043
I figured most people would be like this. Watch something with class.
>>63469066
I'd say that Jodorowsky is as classy as he gets. One of the few directors who still puts his life, feelings, and passion into his work. That's more classy to me than being a hack fraud like Michael Bay.
El Topo is better.

>Watch something with class.
your entire breakdown of why this is a bad film so far is as follows:
>This is trash.
>It is trying really hard to be edgy but just looks like abstract shlock.
>I like some art films, but this one just left a really bad taste in my mouth.
> I hate the execution of it
I don't know if you're satisfied with that, but to me it seems like you don't really know what you're talking even in reference to this so-called "classless" film. Maybe set your sights a bit lower.
