It was undeniably fun from the opening logos with the deafening engine road firing up.
It did exactly what it set out to do, and clearly conveyed as such from the get go.
By being so conceptually simple (as yeah, it is just a big car chase) it instead had plenty of time to pay attention to detail which it capitalized on. Fantastically crafted.

Road Warrior is basically shit compared to Fury Road. any of the non-action scenes are so corny and terribly written. the 20 minute action setpiece at the end of the movie is the best part and Fury Road takes that segment, makes it way better, and extends it to 2 hours. the originals suck compared to Fury Road. by themselves they're decent but Fury Road blows them away and thinking otherwise suggests ya might be a pleb
