I thought Nympho was more graphic. The shock value of Love was overrated, Yeah there was plenty of pussy eating and cock rubbing and lots of positions, but if you've ever actually watched a porno it's tame.

I'd honestly have to go back and rewatch Enter The Void, but you're right.
With this one, however, I was aggravated from the beginning and it just kept getting worse and worse, like the kind of bad, where you're physically creasing up watching it.

lol, I noticed all those things and laughed. But it's not rare for a director to reference his influences in his films. But naming their kid Gaspar made me lol hard.
Overall, it's a nice moody love/sex story that doesn't really go anywhere (not all movies need to) and has a nice atmosphere.I give it a 7/10. Parts of it dragged on though and were tough to sit through,

But in the second half he just starts aping scenes from Irreversible and Enter the Void, it makes this film all the more redundant.
Like yeah, fair enough, props to him for making the film he wanted to, but it's just awful in comparison to what he was making 10 years ago.
I'm a big Noe fan, so it hurts.
Also, I lost it when he literally showed up in a wig as the ex-boyfriend and said "let me introduce you to a big guy".
I like this trend of unsimulated sex scenes showing how sexual relationship actually work instead just them kissing undercovers and waking up the next day.
