I'm from Argentina. When it comes to fiction we get maybe one good original show every 10 years. Last one I remember was called Los Simuladores and it was great. Then it's mostly generic daily dramas about couples, the acting is embarrasingly wooden and the writing is abysmal, full of paper thin characters. The rest I guess it's like everywhere. You have right wing news channels and left ones.

Here in Ireland it's pretty good. Mostly British TV is what makes it good. Channel 4, BBC One & 2 have shitloads of good shows. Channel 4 currently championing the most patrician show in the world at the moment, Countdown, obviously. Theres also a law here that forbids pharmaceuticals being advertised, so no viagra ad spam like in the U.S.
We adapt the shittiest shows from other countries and hype the shit out of awful movies
