It's a great joke but later in the series than you might think.
dont know which episode it was, but the simpons were at the fish restaurant and homer looked at the wall. on the wall where fishes and other sea elements painted and homer tried to explain lisa that he see a sequence there. but he was wrong
Why couldn't the show have just ended at 11 seasons. It wraps up perfectly. That season, while not amazing, is very good in spots and even when it gets a little meta, it's a nice nod and would have been a nice attitude to end the show with. Fucking, fuck.
