Hello, reddit

People are generally too quick to point out plot-holes and inconsistencies which aren't there if you pay attention. It's not by any means a question of the film being difficult to understand, it's that most people seem to assume there's no need, so they aren't trying. I blame the shit marketing.
On top of that, people seem quick to dismiss the level to which it's steeped in references to Greek mythology, even playing out like a trip through the five rivers of Hades, Jess assuming the role of Sisyphus. Again, not difficult to understand if you have basic knowledge of Greek mythology, but people seem to assume it's not there.

I get that's what you're referring to, but that gradually starts becoming evident early on. There's no big reveal or anything.
>>63406678
weird why they went through all the effort of trying to make it look like it was set in america when its clearly in queensland i felt that was really unneeded
>>63408189
Yeah, that felt unnecessary.

Started great, but after a while i just felt like i knew everything that was going to happen. Reminds me a lot of Coherence, which i probably prefer.

It was entertaining.
