Ein film von Fritz Lang
is it actually good or is it one of those "but it was ground breaking for it's time so we pretend to like it!" like casablanca, 2001, seven samurai and citizen kane?
Faust is better
>>63403302
It's incomplete, we'll never really know.
>>63403380
theres only two scenes missing no
It boggles my mind that they actually cut the negative.
>>63403302
watch the version on netflix. otherwise it really drags
>>63403390
apparently its 3 hours long. the longest cut ive seen in 2:30
>>63403302
If you have to pretend to like Casablanca, 2001, Seven Samurai and Citizen Kane then you're aplen that needs to kill himself.
>>63403460
The only scenes missing now are a fight scene between main guys father and doctor claw and a rant by a monk about the apocalypse.
Hitler's fave.
>>63403655
So we're not allowed to hate it?
>>63403655
I thought that was King Kong or was that just a meme?

Are you one of those ADD babby faggots that can't watch a movie made before you were born?
The only version one should watch ist the version from the murnau stiftung.
Everything else is the ameripleb cut.
>>63403130
A decent flick that kind of falls apart in its final act.
>>63403772

CUTTING EDGE SPECIAL EFFECTS
LITERALLY THE CAPESHIT OF ITS DAY
PEOPLE IN THE 1920S MUSTVE BEEN SHITTING THEIR PANTS AT THIS COMPOSITING WORK

Hitler's favorite movie
a movie about human resources
It's a pretty good film.
I managed to see it with live piano at a local museum which was very enjoyable.
of all the silent era films ive watched and ive watched quite a few i thought it was decent. i personally like cabinet of dr caligari the best. all silent movies to me just give off a kind of creepy vibe any way and cabinet sort of just runs with it.
>>63403655
Fritz Lang was Jewish, so no.
>>63403655
That's not King Kong or Snow White? Rumors say he also saw the Great Dictator and liked it

With the exception of Casablanca all of these are incontestable classics.
The fact that you are disputing their legacy and legitimacy as landmark achievements in art just shows how ignorant you are about the history of cinema
