The president that Frank topples on his rise to power might be the worst character ever written in any show.
He exists for the sole purpose to being swept aside at the faintest breeze of Frank's machinations. He has no discernible personality other than being a big worthless pussy with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. How he was ever elected president is a mystery. There weren't even 3 people in the entire US government telling him that he shouldn't resign. From the show we can only assume that everyone in the entire united states wanted this guy to eat shit and die with the exception of some faggot named Tusk.
The 'scandal' that eventually pushes him to resign is such mundane unimportant chickenshit that no real life president would ever consider abdicating their office over. We've had a president who sanctioned drug smuggling operations in order to provide weapons to foreign rebels and NOTHING HAPPENED. Other presidents have sanctioned illegal spying on every American citizen while simultaneously condoning detention and torture of US citizens and NOBODY CARED. Another president made it legal to assassinate US citizens for suspicion of terrorism without any kind of due process. But we're suppose to believe that he's really facing down impeachment? fucking dumb.
