You only stunt cast for diversity. So if you get lucky and have that oh so rare story that already feature a black person in a main role you just roll with it.

Other wise the idea is to stuff a random black person in there some where. Make him a guard at the gate in Thor, now the F4 have an "adopted" brother or you just throw him into star wars randomly.

sometimes it works out fine some times not so much. To be fair on this issue Hollywood has been white washing every story they get for decades now and people just accept it. Asian story? Hey now it's all white people or a sitcom is set in NY and you never seen black etc, even in the back ground.

odds are that's due not being able to have black extras around a hollywood set. They would just steal everything not nailed down.

There's an attempt in television to emasculate white men like they did with Asians by portraying them as either nerdy beta-males, sociopathic villains, or simply show them as minimally as possible and replacing originally white characters, despite being a majority population.
