I dunno. I liked it a lot more then I expected to, but it still felt like two very different movies.
But I did leave the movie with a new robotcunnyfu.

How can Lindelof be so inconsistent? Does he need a partner that writes the story and he just fleshes it out?

I think Lindelof is REALLY good at raising big questions and building things up. He's demonstrated himself to be incapable of RESOLVING any of that. So you either need a writing partner able to fill in the gaps, or a director and editor that know how to suppress that shit.
