It's true though. All fedoras who overanalyze movies and brag about how "deep" they are, are missing the point of movies. They're entertainment.
I'd like to think it's in line with what Jerry Seinfeld once said about the comedians that he personally enjoys watching.

He's a pretty clean comic and he said he enjoys really raunchy comics.
