Flash is only the most powerful in his own comic when writers try to one up each other finding new ways to shatter physics with the Speed Force. In the show, he's nerfed, much like he is when he appears in other DC titles than his own such as Justice League.
It's short of opposite to how it is with Batman, he tends to be more vulnerable in his own comic than in guest appearances and team ups.

Of course, but numbers aside, he's never shown to be this capable in most, if not all, Justice League media or team ups. There, Superman would win if they went toe to toe, yet Flash could easily beat the Justice League team by himself many times over if they were going by his power creep feats. But this varies from issue to issue, he's also often been shown to be as clumsy and powerless as pick related. Which is why the Flash show is actually doing a great thing by balancing things out.

it isnt just that the flash moves fast its that his entire genetic makeup moves fast. every cell or atom in his body is moving at 10 billion times the speed of deez nuts so basically whenever he's running super fast and theres shit in the way he (i actually cant remember entirely) either breaks his atoms apart to pass through them and then puts them back together or he does that to whatever he runs through. i think its the second one because he can literally run through a person and if he wants to he can just not put them together again and blink them out of existence. all because he was running late. flash sucks. dc sucks.
I really like how they let The Flash and Arrow be a bit over the top and ridiculous sometimes. it really is like a live action comic book. Not every capeshit adaptation has to be some grim dark shit like the new Batman movies. Its a TV show on a teenage girl channel. Its fun.
The Flash is one of my favorite comic characters of all time.
