I don't think anyone sincerely believes that this movie can fail. I think Hollywood's gotten shovelling bullshit refined to an artform now. This movie has so much advertising and hype going for it that it could be legitimately really bad and still make a fuckload of money. People are seeing this no matter what.

They fired the original Disney kike writer, Michael Arndt. (Toy Story 3 and the Hunger Games: Catching Fire) In his place we have Lawrence Kasdan ( The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Return of the Jedi)
Sure Abrams may be focusing on diversity in casting, but I'm sure the story will be great. And so far, all the leaks indicate that Ridley's character will be the main character and their will be no forced romance between her and Boyega.
