The WC plot is supposed to be that the orcs are deranged demon monsters except for a few that had enough foresight to avoid becoming demon monsters. The humans were just people, some of them good and some of them bad, but in the First War they simply try to defend their homes.

If you know anything about the story the orcs ruin their own land and ravage another land invading it. There's one clan at first who is led to believe lies and didn't know Gul'dan was responsible, Gul'dan kills that clan and the leader. Bad guys win. Who knows how Blizzard changes it up. Probably stickin close to the source material judging by the trailer's subtle shots.

nothing bad even happens to Draenor in the games until after the Dark Portal opens. The only reason they went to Azeroth was because Medivh and Kil'jaeden convinced Gul'dan it'd be a fun place to chimpout. But then after it opened the fel energy it produced sterilized the land on both sides
