I remember watching it and liking it. But thought it was one of those shows that just dead.
There was a show called "Lyon's Den" starring Rob Lowe that was cancelled halfway through its first season, but they had to finish making the season because it had been sold to foreign networks.
It ended with our idealistic hero being exposed as a serial killer, offing the rest of the cast and jumping out the window.
