Everyone likes to be lazy from time to time
But if she'd just closed her eyes, you might think she's only taking a nap. It's the dropping head that really sells it
>>63284058
by far the worst death scene in the trilogy, possibly one of the top of all time. and I LOVE the TDK trilogy. but holy shit. they should have reshot it
>>63284058
why would they put this shit in the movie
it was pointless and terrible
capeshitters will eat anything
>>63284058
>scenes with mooks falling over for no reason
Is it really that hard to reshoot a few seconds or cut a scene short?
>>63284118
Her entire character was pointless and terrible tbqh

hurr durr muh superior taste in cinema
fuck off. I love capeshit and even I know this is a bad death scene. no one is arguing that.

>hurr durr I'm a pleb: the post
dkr was a mess
I don't know why anyone thought after the amazing opening scene that the movie was trying to be serious. Everything from the script to the action was done deliberately bad, Nolan just saying goodbye to capeshit and phoning it in, that's why I can appreciate it.
For the movie to be a really good satire it had to keep on its mask of grimdark self seriousness instead of outright making obvious jokes, so you have completely ridiculous things played 100% straight in the movie such as the cops running into the tunnels, the bat logo in flames on the building, the "clean slate program", and Talia's death scene.
Nearly every scene has something completely nonsensical about it yet the movie does it all at face value.
She should had stick her tongue out, would make it more believable.
It's silly because the truck going over the meridian and crashing down 40 feet was really satisfying.
If they'd just shown her dying instantly there would be no problem.

I was born in 1990 what is this?
>>63284126
Nolan doesn't use monitors so he can't tell what was actually captured on in the frame.

Mac the Moon Man? He was McDonald's pre-Ronald mascot. Every single happy meal toy was Mac in a different vehicle for the entirety of the 80s...
>>63284254
She should have pulled out some flowers and held them to her chest. That would have made it believable.
>>63284288
Holy shit are you serious
>>63284254
She should had ripped a loud fart with diarrhea and piss fountain noises, that'd be more believable.
>>63284233
the trouble is that most Nolan films are like that, even the ones Nolanfans like unironically.
>>63284288
He just sits there, with his coffee
she didn't die so good
>>63284254
Nolan should have put Xs over her eyes, that would make it more believable.

The savior of the white race. His efforts to bring together the white race against the dark devils have been the most successful in history. His kill score is possibly the highest in history, only second to Adolf Hitler. When Moonman is here, it's a dark night for non-whites.

More examples of shots that should be reshot please
>>63284611
Pretty sure. He says in interviews he prefers to frame through the viewfinder.
Of course he can't be doing that when they're filming because someone else has to operate the camera 95% of the time, so if someone misses something it's probably going to get swept under the rug. Nolan's style is rarely open enough for any mistakes to creep into the frame though, TDKR is an anomaly because they used IMAX in many outdoor scenes with large casts and speedy production schedules.
He also eschews story boards and relies on what's in his head to plan the edit during principal photography. Dude just isn't a planner, he subscribes too heavily to French new wave.

Mosquito man's death is by far the worst. It's hard to even tell that he died.

That's a pretty realistic way of taking a bullet though. Many shooting videos you won't even be able to see a squib and people can slump in the most awkward ways.
>>63285094
It's to his credit though that his 150 minute plus films do work, even if the editing is aesthetically cumbersome.

true that, but people want to see some stylish deaths etc. because they don't realize that most people will just collapse like some sack of potatoes
