Onto the question:
I doubt many asexuals would simply "suck it up" and marry/live with someone of the opposite sex or anything (or rather someone they aren't attracted to). There would have to be something there. An aromantic ace may choose to be with a good friend, say, or a romantic ace with someone they have romantic ties to. I see no reason that a homosexual person to be against marrying/living with a good friend of the opposite sex. That isn't entirely unheard of. There's also the potential situation of a homosexual person being hetero/biromantic. But no, none of that would strengthen the "suck it up" argument in the slightest. It should always be about who the individual cares about, no matter their reason.

Usually your heart works in sync with gravity. When you're upside down, it's harder to pump blood up to your legs and harder to pump blood away from your brain and lungs. As a result, blood pools in the brain and lungs, and fluid seeps out of capillaries into surrounding tissues.
You can't just drain the fluid out of the trachea because it's filling up all the tiny alveoli all at once.
