No that's just a shit movie.

Everything else on there are just good popular movies that retarded elitists like to shit on for the sake of being contrarian.

You want true fedora you gotta go Lars Von Trier or something.

Nice memes guys. Could you imagine if somebody actually sincerely liked these movies?

>if you don't have to analyse the film in depth to fully understand the message it's getting across then it's a bad film.

>if the film portrays a message in a simple, easy to understand, but still entertaining way that can still make you think, then it's bad.

Literally what you are saying.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

The only movies I'm willing to defend on the list:

>Battle Royale
Takeshi Kitano can single-handedly carry anything on his back. One minute of his presence can make anything watchable.

>American Psycho
Essential memecore.

>Fellowship of the Ring
Sean Bean plays the realest human being and is the strongest link in the Fellowship cast. Orlando Bloom and Gimli man can't carry a scene half as well and the sequels suffer for it. Bakshi > Jackson. Sequel never.

>Clerks
2 is superior but you can't have 2 without 1.

>Taxi Driver
Literally me. Intelligent, nihilistic, with a wicked sense of humour.

>Drive
>Dark Knight
Again, I love my memes.

This chart's too big a clusterfuck of ideas to work. I get the idea of mixing highly regarded kino with norbit and waterboy but there's no consistency to it. I can't imagine anyone stringing together a line of thinking that could make sense of this. The best charts for pissing people off are the ones that are disagreeable. This is just nonsense. People don't disagree with nonsense, they ignore it. Fedoracore is the ultimate pleb-enrager. This chart does nothing.

I agree with all of these except Oldboy. It's more thematically and visually intriguing than it is "morally". It's not trying to make a statement, it's just showing the absolute corruption of one's self that comes with revenge.

Just proved my point.

Anyone that unironically puts Drive, The Fellowship of the Ring and The Dark Knight among his favorites deserves to be thrown into a vat of acid.
>>
>>63278020

No point arguing with something that's blatantly retarded. But fine, you want your argument here we go.

Well made films can still be enjoyable even if the message of the film is simplistic and/or conveyed in a way that doesn't take much thinking to understand. To claim otherwise is to instantly dismiss a host of well made, enjoyable films. Sure when people claim they're "deep" is when you can say "well actually it's really not, the themes of the film are blatantly displayed for all to see.". However to try and claim that the only good cinema is cinema that takes a lot of thought and time to understand the subtleties of its message is at its best pretentious and it its worse idiocy.

I said

>if you don't have to analyse the film in depth to fully understand the message it's getting across then it's a bad film.
in a way that implied it was a retarded point to be making

You said

>Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

I said the same argument again

You say

>Nobody said that but you.

Okay kid.
