I'm not even into comics books but I understand what's going on
I for one am looking forward to it.
I will say, my one complaint however is that they are using Doomsday this early, it seems a bit too soon for a character of his caliber, without toning him back a lot. So I hope he doesn't just get killed off this time around, and will grow more powerful. In my opinion, a better choice for the part could have been Bizarro. Make him an attempt to clone Zod and Superman, and have him wreck havoc. That's a throwaway villain that they could have used early on.
But all in all, the trailer was fantastic, and I am very hyped. I don't really give a damn about Marvel competition, because it's clear Batman vs. Superman and Civil War are going to clearly be two very different kinds of movies.

It looks more interesting than any Marvel movie. At least WB allows Zack Snyder to apply his own juvenile and overheated but gorgeous directing style to his movies, Marvel movies don't even look like they're made by a director.
