imo bond all the way until Spectre. They went hard af on Rogue Nation
MI:3 > everything else
>>63264987
Both it and Casino Royale had their regular-guy villains get very unceremoniously taken out.
I love Tom Cruise, but the MI movies don't really amount to much more than "pretty good" even though they are better than a good portion of the Bond movies. Casino Royale is easily the best movie out of all of those posted, though.
>>63264889
It was basically just the fourth movie again. Although Alec Baldwin's speech about Hunt being "the living embodiment of destiny" was genuinely hilarious.
>>63264847
Goldeneye > Mission: Impossible
The World is Not Enough > Mission: Impossible 2
Casino Royale > Mission: Impossible 3
Skyfall > Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol
Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation > Spectre
MI series>Casino Royale>>>microwaved dogshit>>>rest of the Daniel Craig Bond movies
>>63265262
That was goofy for sure but I liked just about everything about 5 better than 4 though.
>>63265317
M:I>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Goldeneye
M:I 2>TWINE
Casino>M:I 3
M:I 4>>>>Skyfall
M:I 5>/=Spectre
>>63264847
>Round 1
Goldeneye
>Round 2
Don't really want to give this to either, but The World Is Not Enough had a cool theme song at least and Denise Richards in a skimpy outfit
>Round 3
Casino Royale by a country mile
>Round 4
Skyfall
>Round 5
They're both kind of forgettable but I didn't fall asleep during Rogue Nation
>>63265470
>Denise Richards
More like golden era Sophie Marceau getting off with an ice cube
>>63265320
I actually liked QoS a lot after giving it another couple of watches over time. More than Skyfall and Spectre I think.
>>63264847
M:I>QoS>M:I 4=M:I 5>Spectre>Casino Royale>M:I 2>Skyfall>M:I 3

>le meme image
ok
>>63266247
'le' is more meme than almost any reaction image.
>>63266299
does it really matter
can't we talk about the films instead? i never really got the hate for QoS/the love fro Casino and Skyfall. Also, the M:I movies (except 3) are more interesting than pretty much every bond film. M:I 2 is such a ridiculously underrated film.
>>63266361
What's not to love about Casino?
>>63264847
Bourne series > Bond > Mission Impossible.
>>63266389
i mean, i like it, but it doesn't strike me as something special (not like the M:I's or spectre or QoS). but parts of it are really really good. maybe i just need to see it again.
skyfall though is not good, imo.
>>63265976
embarassing
>>63266392
How was Legacy
MI1 > GoldenEye
Mi2 (or literally any MI movie) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TWINE (no contest, one of the WOAT bonds)
Casino >>> MI3
MIGP > Skyfap
MIRN > Spectre
>>63266441
I liked Skyfall but while I don't normally sperg over small details of things I can never think of that movie without thinking about 1. the train falling through the ceiling 2. I didn't like that in the song which was pretty good acc they used Skyfall as a noun instead of sticking with the perfectly good "let the sky fall"
>>63266654
TWINE gave me this awesome song by garbage,
the movie wins on that alone
>>63266716
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C5NLfYdZaE
got to paste stupid link
>>63266716
Too bad the movie itself was garbage
MI2 gave us Hans Zimmers best soundtrack and the worlds first big budget live action cartoon
This is the real rankings you faggots:
Goldeneye>Mission: Impossible
The World is Not Enough>Mission:Impossible 2
Casino Royale>Mission: Impossible 3
Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol>Skyfall
Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation>Spectre
>World is Not Enough
>I sent 009 to kill Renard

>This car is for 009
I want to see this guy's movies
>>63266805
>TWINE over MI2
>TWINE better than any MI movie
>>63266860
>MI2
>Good
>>63266935
TWINE is literally one of the WOAT Bonds. MI2 could be a Michael bay movie and it would still be better
>>63266584
anyone see it?
>>63267295
i like it actually
it does feel like half a movie though
>>63267295
It's pretty decent tbqh, it feels like it was reaching for an uncontainable spin off, but it was enjoyable
Mission wins every round except MI3 vs CR.
Goldeneye is the only own to come close.
If you picked TND over world it would've actually been a challenge
>>63267434
I mulled over that for a moment but usually when I mention TND is conversation with people they don't remember it but they remember TWINE.
Fucking love TND even though the girl is way too generic spunky spy girl. I liked Quantum's spy girl better.
>>63267537
You talking shit bout mai kungfu bruh?
>>63267636
Hate her.
Near the end she actually yells "hi yah!" when coming out from cover to shoot at a bad guy.
>>63267669
Wait she actually said "hi yah"?
Jesus Christ Barbara, you never looked at the scripts did you...
>>63265317
Goldeneye < Mission: Impossible
The World is Not Enough < Mission: Impossible 2
Casino Royale > Mission: Impossible 3
Skyfall > Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol
Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation > Spectre
fixed itfor you
I think it is unfair to compare MI to 007. The Bond movies have been around much longer than the MI movies. There are a lot more gems in the Bond franchise. But overall, I very much enjoy the MI movies as well. Even the silly one directed by John Woo (Motorcycle-fu).
The real burning question on my mind is what is /tv/'s opinion abouta Mission Impossible/007 crossover movie?
Jason Bourne > Ethan Hunt > James Bond > Jack Bauer > Peter Quinn
>>63268026
>Mission Impossible 6
>MI6
>bond works for mi6
Confirmed and hyped
>>63268048
FTFY:
James Bond>Jason Bourne>Ethan Hunt>Jack Bauer
>>63264847
M:I > Goldeneye
M:I 2 < World
M:I 3 < Casino Roayle
M:I 4 > Skyfall
M:I 5 = Spectre
M:I 3 is fantastic, but unfortunately is compared to Casino. It beats out all others.
>>63268026
How would that even work? MI works best as a spy team movie. Tom Cruise carries the action, but needs a lot of help from the supporting cast.
007 is just Bond being a solo bad ass and getting the woman.
>Bond, we're a team now
Doesn't sound too great.
>>63265976
I honestly prefer MI nowadays. Never thought I'd feel that way years back. Tom has been killing it. Last 3 Bonds were shit to mediocre flicks and Craig bores the fuck out of me.
>>63268157
CIA higher up sends out Hunt and team against bond, unbeknownced to them is that CIA is actually a spectre operative
>changed the style of the poster on the last one
REEEEEEEEE
Bond bitches are you even trying anymore
>>63268410
>Dat perfect amount of tit visible from the rear
Who is the semen demon. Reminds me of a girl I know.
>>63268410
I am never like this, but in her specific case I think the obligatory sexy shit was beneath her. She was a fucking savage in that movie.
>>63268358
Those are from the recent DVD sets, though I am reeeeing that RN won't have a 5 next to it.
>>63268157
Hunt like in most movies is following some lead on his own and gets in trouble and disavowed. Due to some intel that puts Hunt at the scene and the events of past MI movies the Kremlin, the Balarathon disease shit, the NOC list MI6(the British intelligence organization) has actually had their eye on him as person of interest for years. And without IMF watching his back he's now free game. They send Bond after him and while on his trail Bond catches on to some clues that lead to something awful about to happen. They don't really work together for most of the movie but try to beat each other to the end. Hunt thinking Bond is trying to stop him and Bond thinking Hunt is in on it. It's only in the last act who the real villain is and it's pretty much one mission where Hunt and bond infiltrate some compound together in an orgy of gunfights, acrobatics, and explosions.
