It was a milestone TV show that paved the way for the Golden Age of television that we have today. No one has forgotten about it, there's just not much reason to talk about a show that's been off the air for 5 years.

LOST is flavour of the month television like Breaking Bad and True Detective. Carnivale (its closest comparison) is a lot better in every way. Sopranos made nearly every quality tv after it possible. Unlike LOST, it's still discussed to this day.

There is a reason the meme "/tv/ - LOST" is still thrown around to this day. You may not like LOST, but you can't deny that it was a show like no other; so unique that there are many shows running today that try to emulate what LOST achieved during its time, but completely fail at it. I guess it's one of those things that you had to have been there to experience the phenomenon that was LOST. Not that LOST was a well written show, because it was pretty fucking shit considering all things, but you're completely ignoring the impact that it had. Sopranos is a fucking mediocre show as well but you seem to have no problem fellating it because you probably think it makes you appear more cultured or whatever.

Well your entire statement is just wrong since Sopranos is actually at the very height of the medium, LOST isn't in any way. Most modern dramas were inspired by Sopranos, not LOST. See Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, The Wire, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, The Leftovers etc. Nice false accusations though.
