Daredevil is the exception, followed by Gotham. I don't think it's the greatest, but I enjoy the show always liked Batman as a kid.

I haven't watched this show but I'd be real surprised if it wasn't the same old "GURLS R STRONK" shit. American media is so fucked when it comes to "strong female characters" and it's not exclusively the fault of SJWs. And I think at this point it's too late to fix things.

Psycho-Pass is a detective series and even as the main character she's not physically strong, and mainly achieves success as a result of her cunning, negotiation, and detective skills.
Ghost in The Shell and Armitage III are much closer to Western "women are capable of being physically strong/er than men larger than them" tropes, although GiTS and Armitage III feature female leads with fully-cybernetic military-grade bodies.
Patlabor, a very old series, is also quite different as the female leads are simply talented pilots as a result of their training and temperaments.
So don't try to go make any more comparisons of things you haven't watched either.

The worst part of this show, the part that truly made me hate it, the characters, the writer and the female producer involved the situation with the incest couple.
The man in the relationship is obviously being controlled by his psychotic and abusive sister.
When he winds up dead in JJ's bed, her cunty best friend and a black drug addict do all they can to cover up the crime, even though there is clear evidence that someone else was involved.
(In before, "but kilgrave would just get away with it.)
That doesn't matter. They still could have told someone. They still could have given his family closure. Instead, what do they do?
First, they leave the body in the room for a few days. Next, they finally decide to dump it in the river.
Finally, JJ decides she needs to use it for her own selfish purposes. So she jumps in the river and rips the head off the corpse. She literally uses the corpse of a human being as a prop in her own sick game.
This man's life had absolutely no value to her. He wasn't even treated like a human being.
And when she's finally confronted by the crazy sister, who is now going insane with worry over her missing brother, she lies to her and covers up the death.
Hating this show is the right thing to do. The writers wrote this episode with a straight face, and were totally oblivious to the horrible, ugly moral implications of the whole story.

At the end of the day they're just regular people that are super strong and scared of killing people with their powers. It makes sense that all they do is throw people around. When you say "strong female." Do you mean well-written, or just a woman portrayed with stereotypically male traits? Or perhaps some wish fulfillment Mary Sue?
I ask because a strongly written character will have flaws, be afraid, and have challenges that seem insurmountable at first. No matter what gender they are.
Whether I like or hate the show really depends on if she's just another cookie cutter "stronk womyn" character, or if she and the supporting cast are actually well-written.
Which doesn't mean they have to be "weak women" or have to rely on men. That's just as bad. Cardboard cutouts in either direction.
I just want them to be realistic, human characters.
But I see this is from Marvel, meaning she's a comic book character, so maybe I'm asking too much.
