Is it worth, /tv/?
Been living in Thailand for a while now and thought it looked pretty trippy. I love slow movies so this seems right up my alley.

>trippy
Let me guess, you are also big Avengers fan.

Lol what does that imply? It's alright, I guess. I'm just looking for opinions.

Good lord I just wanted opinions on this movie, god forbid I don't pick from The /tv/ Approved Adjective List ©.
Yes, it's a fantastic film.
It's not very "trippy" though. There's some eerie scenes and a dash of magic realism.
It is really good. I don't know if I would call it trippy . Don't really know what that means when it comes to movies desu.
It is kind of strange tough, a good kind of strange.

Watch "Syndromes and a Century" instead.
It's like Tarkovsky in the jungle. One of my favourite films of the decade.
I think you have to be Thai to fully understand all the shit about forest spirits and reincarnation. Still has some memorable imagery though.

It implies you are younger than 18 and with that bad taste in movies in general which means slow, dream like atmosphere and local folklore is something you wouldn't like.

I didn't quite get much out of it, but if you say you like contemplative cinema and know South-East Asia, you MUST see it.
Do you know Lav Diaz? Chek him out too.

Good to know, I guess. "Trippy" is off the table.
21, and been studying rural Thai livelihood for four months now. Should be pretty interesting then.
Honestly didn't understand it at all
>>63248295
I did understand it, however that one scene at the end completely threw me off. You know the one.
Also, has anyone seen Cemetery of Splendour yet? How was it?
>>63248387
>I did understand it
it's supposed to be open to interpretation. there is no universal meaning.
>>63248407
Well, I wasn't completely lost then. But that one scene I mentioned, I really didn't know what to make of it.
In a good way.

>asking /tv/ about actual film
Just watch it already
