It's really good, much better than Beyond the Thunderdome for sure.Road Warrior > Mad Max = Fury Road > first half of Thunderdome > eating a spoonful of living spiders without chewing > second half of Thunderdome
I thought there were some aspects of it that could have been better, like the couple of blatant "this is so we can charge more for 3D" shots and some of the high-intensity action sequences went on just a little too long and would have worked better if they were spread out a bit more, but that's just personal preference. On a whole, it really worked for me on every level and I thought Tom Hardy did a pretty solid job as Max, I hope they're able to make more.
