Does anyone know why characters looked directly into the camera? It happened often enough that I'm pretty sure it was intentional. If so, was it supposed to be another character or was it simply a camera and the civilization knew they were being watched? I believe someone mentioned a Magic Eye once and I'm not sure if it was a reference to the camera or not. I'm not the best at reading subtitles and watching.
