i'm from italy late night theaters are sparce here we have matinees like movie in the day but it's usualy when i'm in class. theatre and street performance is more popular here. also we don't get wide release in this country for example "Creed" is not played anywhere here that I know of and also because a lot of movies I am interested in are older I wasn't of the age to see them live, you understand?

The cinematic experience is ideally engulfing, you are inside the scene.
The computer experience is encapsulated, you can pause, go pee, sit however you want, eat whatever you want.
The idea is, in the cinema you're stuck there in the moment, I remember being like 14 years old and too jewy to get up and piss during one of the LotR movies, and holding it in for 2 hours. It was excruciating.
Tbh, I've seen so many movies now I just don't care. If you can only tell me a good story in a cinema and your movie doesn't translate to other mediums go fuck yourself.

Objectively all that matters is the ratio of the screen to your overall field of view. Unless you are running a 24" 4k monitor with 4k content, you aren't getting the same resolution that you would be getting at a well projected cinema. Plus you don't get to take advantage of the cinema showers.
