Henry Cavill was one of the runner-ups to play James Bond when Daniel Craig was cast for Casino Royale.
Do you think CR would've had a different feel to it if Cavill was Bond, considering he would have only been 22/23 years old when it was filmed? Or the series in general being at its most grounded and serious and also having the youngest Bond in play?
He was a good knock-off in The Man From UNCLE.

probably would've been Pierce brosnan 2.0, generic.

"You will never be his Red Peril
:(
He's got a pretty-boy baby face, Bond should be rugged and not look like a gentle soul.
Too queer for Bond

>COMMANDER James Bond
>some faggot straight out of college
No thanks.
Not Fassy/10
>>63196806
too pretty

Hell, Roger was kind of a pretty boy for the time, but Cavill really just looks like a male model.
I like Cavill, but he's just too pretty.
Like another anon has said, Bond is rugged and haunted, Cavill is not.
Ewan McGregor or Fassbender are the only choices for the next Bond.

Fassbender would be alright. Can't imagine McGregor as bond. He's not intimidating. It would be like James Macavoy or Martin Freeman playing Bond. Honestly Cavil should have got the role instead of that goblin Craig. Nothing wrong with 007 being good looking.

He's not very rugged, but he did a decent job in Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Nah, McGregor's dope for a bond, hell, I even imagine him with his Obi-Wan hairdo-beard and a suit, he will surely fit in the role
as well as bond he was also on the shortlist for batman and superman before they gave it to brandon routh
nice to see him finally get a big role. possibly living proof you can become unJUSTed?
Cavill is handsome, but he doesn't come across as "dangerous." He's too nice and genuine, which is perfect for Superman, but awful for Bond.
I would have much preferred Cavill. Bond is supposed to be sophisticated, not look like a squatting ukrainian peasant
>craig
>bond

Don't forget this was with Martin Campbell at the helm AND with the producers pinning all the blame on Brosnan for DAD, surly he would've been more like dalton
